Family Time

So…. my family arrives tomorrow evening. It will be the first time that we are together in a very long time. This time we have new additions to the family, Baby Jack. He is too cute. Now our family is anything but normal. We are so loud; everyone talks at the same time. When everyone is together the house is filled with laughter and crying babies. It is just the way I like it. I could not imagine being in a quiet home. We like that series “brothers and sisters”, possibly worse. I LOVE IT! I have a special week in front of me. It’s going to help me get to the end of the year because man I need a holiday.

Kagga Kama

So… on the weekend of the 31st of August. I am going away with my boyfriend to Kagga Kama. Kagga Kamma, located in the peaceful southern Cederberg Mountains. No mobile phones, no traffic pollution,no highways and no city lights. I will be enjoying the silence and the fresh air. Kagga Kama was once home to the Bushmen, there are still cave paintings around the areas. ( dating back 6,000 years). The things that I am looking forward to are the majestic mountains, strange rock formations, game drives, spa treatments, sun downers and phenomenal night skies. I am soooo excited!! Zimbabwe

I lived in Zimbabwe for 10 years while I was growing up. I am dying to go back for a holiday. The country holds such a special place in my heart. You will never meet a Zimbabwean that you dont like. They are such gentle and loving people. If I had my way I would move back tomorrow and raise my children there. Without a doubt it is one of the best childhoods a child could ever have. No one worries about what you wear, who you friends with and how much money you have. This is the place where I grew up. Its called Leopard Rock Hotel. This is the view from the mountain. the dirt road on the right, going into the trees. That was the driveway to my house. It would be my dream to go and live back there. Such great memories and such special friends made.

Happy Days

It has been a fun few weeks, Boyfriend coming back, friends buying houses, catching up with friends, dinners, wine festivals, parents moving down and just plain relaxing. It really has been a happy few weeks. Life is back to normal.

Winter Warmth

Yes… winter has arrived and I am so excited. There is something about winter that makes me so happy. I like the change of seasons, although I enjoy my summer “change is as good as holiday”.

Looking forward to reading my book by the fire, hats,boots,delicious soups and warm coats.

10 things I love!

These are the 10 things that I could not live without!! SUSHI: I could eat sushi every single day.

Animals: I love all animals, big or small.There is nothing nicer than being greeted my your animals when you get home.

Africa: We live in a beautiful country and I could not think of anywhere else I would rather live.

Slippers: The best feeling is coming home from a long day and putting on those ugly comfy pair of slippers.

Rugby: Yes, I am a huge sports fan. rugby is my best and since I do work for a rugby agency I think that it is appropriate :) and the best part about rugby is that are def some lookers.

Reading: Absolutely love sitting down with a good book.

That Pair: That pair of shoes that make you feel so special and sexy no matter what!

Cooking: I love trying new dishes to cook.This is def one of my passions.I am not a baker but I think I should start.

Beach Holidays: Enjoy my beach holidays so much. I love being brown and lying on the beach.

Family: There is one thing that I can not live without and that is my family. I am so blessed to have such a great and fun family.
